Internet
A huge computer network available to everyone to share information and a means to connect to it. It is the actual physical network made up of wires, cables, and satellites as opposed to the Web, which is the multimedia interface to resources available on the Internet.

Printer that sprays small droplets of ink at high speed onto the surface of the paper, producing letter-quality images, and can print in color.
Input
Any data or instructions used by a computer.
Input Device
Piece of equipment that translates data into a form a computer can process. The most common input devices are the keyboard and the mouse.
Income Statement
A statement that shows a company’s financial performance, income, expenses, and the difference between them for a specific time period.
Inventory
Material or products that a company has in stock.
Identity Theft
The illegal assumption of someone’s identity for the purpose of economic gain.
Internet Scam
Using the Internet, a fraudulent act or operation designed to trick individuals into spending their time and money for little or no return.
IT security analyst
Person responsible for maintaining the security of a company’s network, systems, and data.
Infrared
Uses infrared light waves to communicate over short distances. Sometimes referred to as line-of sight communication because light waves can only travel in a straight line.
IP Address (Internet protocol address)
The unique numeric address of a computer on the Internet that facilitates the delivery of e-mail.
