Data
In computing, data is the raw information that has been translated into a form that is more convenient to move or process.
Database
A collection of related information, like employee names, addresses, and phone numbers. It is organized so that a computer program can quickly select the desired pieces of information and display them for you.
Desktop
The screen that is displayed on the monitor when the computer starts up. All items and icons on the screen are considered to be on your desktop and are used to interact with the computer.

A Computer small enough to fit on top of or along the side of a desk and yet too big to carry around.
Device Driver
Every device that is connected to the computer has a special program associated with it called a device driver that allows communication between the operating system and the device.
